- I turned 29.
- Got my 1 month old MacBook's hard drive replaced.
- We bought a house!
Kudos to Apple for being sympathetic to my issues I had with my laptop. They replaced my hard drive, no questions asked, for free, and restored my faith in their products. I was SO upset after my MacBook died and thought about banning their products since I had 2 computers and both died. But after speaking to a Justin Martin at the La Cantera store in San Antonio, I felt so much better. And calling their customer service for follow up help, I was surprised the people actually spoke English well and with no accents! I had a good experience and will be sticking w/my Mac products. :)
My 29th birthday was fairly uneventful. My mom and bro came down to SA and I got some fab gifts. :)
Thursday we closed on the house we were renting - now it's ours! I'm super excited. We want to do some DIY to it... like paint and landscaping. I'll post some pics of it soon. I can't right now because today we are in Lubbock celebrating my Dad's birthday. I plan on getting him MS Office for his Mac. My bro got him 2 movies. I can't remember the names. I also need to buy a good bottle of wine to have with dinner.
Well, I better go get ready for my lunch w/hubs and the father in law. We are going to a Lubbock staple - Home Plate Diner. They were voted "Best Chicken Fried Steak" but I just want a cheeseburger. ;)

Yay! Homeowners!
Yes, I am excited. :) Though I can already see my extra money all going bye-bye. :( Just gotta think "equity."
